Why We're Starting With Seeker
Launching on Seeker brings Sanctum App home to our dear Solana ecosystem friends.
Outside of the device’s onchain-native tech, Seeker is where a hyper-active base of Solana power users live (our team members included) who have gone the extra mile in making Solana a core part of their daily lives.
Another key reason is speed.
While Apple’s App Store and Android’s Google Play Store implement layers of review, policy, and approval that slow launches down, Seeker's dApp Store has much less yellow tape, meaning we can ship faster and start iterating with real users accessing a live app, not a closed-doors alpha version.
Getting Sanctum App in Seeker users’ hands first, therefore, will best set us up for forthcoming launches on iOS and Android.
What Sanctum App Brings To Seeker
While every major crypto app today caters to speculative, risk-loving crypto-native users by encouraging short-term, oftentimes financially destructive behaviors like trading, leverage, and gambling as default experiences, we’re bringing a fundamentally different experience to the Seeker community.
While we of course welcome all degens to try our app (and hope you enjoy it, if that’s you), we’ve not built Sanctum App for them. We instead built it for the large percentage of the global population that crypto’s array of super apps have forgotten: the people who simply want to build wealth slow and steady in the background as they go about their days.
Sanctum App focuses on encouraging healthy, long-term financial habits by making holding quality assets fun (fun enough to compete with the allure of trading and similar activities, we hope) and helping users grow wealth daily in the process.
It’s meant to be an experience that feels calm and rewarding instead of anxious and extractive, with delightful design and simple, but meaningful, in-app actions. This is the opposite approach of the incumbent sensory-overload crypto apps that have every feature imaginable.
