Gateway Progress Update: Faster, Smarter Transaction Delivery

In July, we introduced Sanctum Gateway, Solana’s transaction delivery aggregator designed to help builders reliably land transactions under any network conditions. Since launch, the feedback from teams integrating it has been invaluable in our continued development of the product.

Today, we’re sharing a progress update that brings improved speed, control, and visibility to transaction execution across Solana.

New API Version (V1)

Gateway now supports V1 endpoints, offering faster performance and a smoother developer experience. The new version optimizes request handling and simplifies integration for applications already using Gateway

Transaction Expiry Configuration

Developers can now set custom expiry windows for transactions, defining how many slots a transaction remains valid. This adds another layer of precision for teams managing time-sensitive or high-frequency operations.

Weighted Routing

With Weighted Routing, you can now control the ratio of transactions sent to each delivery provider. This feature allows for custom load balancing and better performance tuning across your preferred routing mix.

Expanded Delivery Channels

We’ve added several new senders that improve performance and redundancy:

  • Sanctum Sender – Sanctum’s own optimized submission service, leveraging SWQoS and Jito simultaneously.
  • Helius Sender – A dual-path delivery service from Helius, sending to both Solana validators and Jito for faster landing times.
  • Nozomi – A proprietary client built by HPC and HFT engineers, designed to achieve the lowest-latency transaction delivery possible.
  • Astralane – A high-performance transaction sender built for speed and precision.

Track Slot Latencies

Gateway now automatically tracks slot latency for every transaction, giving teams granular insight into network responsiveness and delivery performance.

Pricing Update

Delivering through Gateway now costs a minimal 50,000 Lamports (0.00005 SOL) per transaction, keeping it both efficient and affordable for teams at scale.

What’s Next

We will continue to iterate on Gateway as the go-to transaction infrastructure for Solana builders.
